All SAG products are assessed using top-quality assurance systems to ensure safety and consistency. Production adheres to stringent Australian food safety standards and export accreditation requirements, including limits and tolerances on additives, product traceability, and independent industry audits
SAG, through its partner in Australia, the EGX Group, has identified the food commodity (protein) as part of its portfolio. Over time, they plan to develop vertically integrated supply chains, beginning both at the top (delivery to the end market) and at the bottom (processing facilities and asset development, such as farms). With a deep understanding of the Australasian market in processing and rural areas, and the requirements for exporting to various countries, coupled with ongoing involvement in Indonesia, Malaysia, and to a lesser extent other Southeast Asian countries, our primary aim is to export meat products to Indonesia and Middle Eastern countries.
The following Supply Structure has been established to ensure the following:
- Consistent delivery of a compliant and quality product.
- Maintain forward stock supplies to meet contract deliverables.
- Consolidate buying meat through a processing consolidator in Australia, with Geographical spread to counter the ever changing environmental profiles that affect the sourcing of livestock.
- Consolidated buy orders so as to achieve volume pricing. (meat is high volume and low margins).
- Ease of Export/Import by consolidated shipments to Indonesia via a number of Australian processors.
- Assistance in importer on ground logistics.
- Knowledge of local importing imports.
- Long term Sustainability.
